Amy MacDonald nasceu a 25 de Agosto de 1987 é uma cantora e compositora escocesa. O seu álbum de de estreia, This Is The Life, foi lançado em 30 de Julho de 2007 e até ao momento vendeu mais de 1.200.000 cópias. O seu primeiro single, “Poison Prince”, foi lançado em 7 de Maio de 2007. Ela fez espectáculos em festivais de música como Festival de Glastonbury, Hyde Park Calling, T in the Park, and V Festival. Macdonald começou tocando performances acústicas aos 15 anos. Suas maiores influências são Travis e The Libertines.
